Program
Description
The first year of
training in the CMMC Family Practice Residency Program is
AOA approved for a traditional rotating internship. In
addition to the requirements for in-patient training in
Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics and
Emergency Medicine, residents begin a three (3) year
longitudinal out-patient experience in the Family Practice
Center. Based in a state-of-the-art community hospital
without competing residencies, the program prepares
practitioners to deliver rural family medicine, and,
therefore, they can function well in any practice setting
they choose. International Health/Remote Medicine electives
available to all residents.
