Program
Description
Three (3) year
Family Practice Residency with an approved rotating
internship and FP specialty tract internship. Strengths are
an unopposed program in a tertiary hospital for two-thirds
of Maine (450,000 patients), a state-of-the-art family
practice center with an electronic medical record (Logician)
and a nationally recognized osteopathic training program. We
focus on training family physicians for rural areas and
small towns.
The NMM+1 Program is designed to provide comprehensive training in all aspects of osteopathic manipulative medicine. The program emphasizes OMM's integration into primary care. It prepares practitioners to serve as teachers, consultants, and role models for osteopathic training. (Application through ERAS)
