I was named instructor of the year/month in May, 1999. I received the Dorfman Award for Teaching Excellence in 2000 and was named Chairman of the Education Committee by the Medical Staff.

I have been appointed to the Education and Self-Study Committees of NEOMEN for the past two years.

I was certified as an Advanced Life Support Instructor in March, 2002.

I serve on the Board of Directors of the local chapter of the American Lung Association.
