Executive
Director's Report ANNUAL MEETING This has been my
first full year as Executive Director, and, in reflection, the learning
curve was much quicker than I would have thought. I believe this was
aided by the number of program inspections that occurred in quick succession,
the need to file a self-study report, and the support from Drs. Johnson,
Bates, and Buser and the ODMEs and faculty at the program sites. I am
grateful to each and every one of you for your patience and willingness
to assist when asked. I also had the benefit of staff in the person
of Elaine Simard, who, I am happy to announce, has been promoted to
the position of Director of Administrative and Educational Services.
Elaine now coordinates the district and videoconference educational
programs, along with administrative/bookkeeping duties and faculty appointments.
I was also fortunate to have a hard-working Research Committee chaired
by Judith Malinowski, Ph.D., with strong support by Marilyn Gugliucci,
Ph.D., NEOMEN’s Research Director. |
