Program
Description
The osteopathic
internship program at Mercy Hospital is a traditional
rotating internship. The goal of the internship is to train
skillful, compassionate physicians. A majority of the
internship positions are linked to the UNECOM Family
Practice, Family Practice/Neuromusculoskeletal, and
Neuromusculoskeletal residency programs.

Program
Description
The goal of this
program is to prepare residents for careers in Family
Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine through
high-quality clinical experiences with affiliate hospitals
and dedicated physicians. The emphasis on continuity care
develops the resident's clinical, professional,
administrative and diagnostic skills. Both the Family
Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine residencies are
completed in two years. Residents who choose the Combined
Family Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine residency
program are board eligible for both Family Practice and
Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. The Combined FP/NMM residency
takes only three years to complete.
